Nashi, aka Asian Pear, is a sweet crisp pip fruit, of a bell or oval shape. Delicious eaten fresh, preserved or in baking. Nashi have a high magnesium content, are rich in fibre and vitanims.

Nashi - Beautiful Asian pear with bronzed round fruit with a mild flavour. The creamy flesh is low acid and therefore very sweet. Self-pollinates but will do better with a companion such as Kosui. Ripens around March. Nashi is the Japanese word for Pear. Deciduous.
